Regular School Attendance definition

Section 444(1) of the Education Act 1996, “regularly” means “in accordance with the rules prescribed by the school”

The rules prescribed by the The Fitzwimarc School, regular school attendance is determined as "attending every session available to the student throughout the academic year"  -  ie 100%. 

The school day is separated into 2 sessions, morning (am) and afternoon (pm).  Students who are on roll and attend the FitzWimarc school are expected to attend both sessions, each day and every week the school is open.
