Success Stories

Donna Adams – Class of 2000 Donna pic.png

“During my time at Fitz I enjoyed working in the technical department on school productions and I was always keen to leave education and start work.  At the age of seventeen I travelled to New York on my own and began a career in theatre production, working as a stage hand in a New York Repertory Theatre.  Upon returning to England I moved to London’s West End, working in Stage Electrics on shows including The Rat Pat, Producers and Into the Hoods.

I had a change of career in my early twenties and joined an internet marketing company becoming a marketing consultant for natural and paid search, and a search engine and social media specialist.   During my time working abroad and in London I’d always had close ties with our family's business, A.R.Adams Funeral Directors; I joined the team in 2008 and have not looked back.

In 2011 after three years of training I qualified as a Funeral Director and became a Director of the company.  All of our team place a strong focus on working in the community, and in 2015 we had the distinction of winning the nationwide award for "Funeral Director of the Year".

In my personal life I enjoy weight-training, being active, playing golf and working in the community.  Over the years I’ve helped to raise over £10,000 for local children’s charities, I have cycled across Vietnam and Cambodia and have successfully completed a trek across the Arctic Circle.”

Leo Molossi- Class of 2014 Leo pic.png

Leo is a local businessman who started his first registered business at the age of just 18. From starting up an electrical contracting firm that went from strength to strength he then invested in setting up a building maintenance company that still operates to this very day.  During this period Leo gained more and more knowledge on how businesses operated and this gave him the confidence to be an entrepreneur and to set up other successful business, these being far from what he was used to; he now operates multiple hospitality and catering establishments.

His success is owed to his attention to detail in everything he does; If his name is associated with it, then it has to be perfect. His journey to date hasn’t all being plain sailing but with his determination, attention to detail and his well respected reputation, he has enabled his businesses grow and expand.

Leo is very keen on helping others that share his passion to set up and manage their own businesses, but with limited time on his hands it’s not always possible. In time, Leo would like the ability to become a venture capitalist and make this his full time career where he can run a business and help others run their business too.

Investing and helping the local community is also something Leo’s very keen to assist with and is always looking for opportunities.
